State Representative Dan Swanson is inviting constituents to contact his District Office for state services and problems.
“Many times, when it comes to problems with state agencies, residents don’t know where to turn for help,” said Swanson. “I want to be sure 74th District residents know I am here to serve them and assist with state agencies, issues coming before the legislature and with an array of state services.”
In January, Rep. Swanson opened the new 74th District Constituent Services Office at 536 Oxford Avenue, Suite D in Woodhull, which is on the East side of the Woodhull Travel Plaza at Interstate 74 and Route 17. Office hours are Monday-Friday from 9:00am-4:00pm.
The office’s e-mail address is swanson@ilhousegop.org and Rep. Swanson’s legislative website can be found at www.repswanson.com. The website also includes a map of the district, committee assignments, contact form, and information on legislative initiatives supported by Rep. Swanson.
Rep. Swanson’s legislative aide started in January as well. Born in Cambridge and now a Geneseo resident, Julie Dillie is excited to join the team. Prior to working for Rep. Swanson, Ms. Dillie worked as Development Director for Junior Achievement of the Heartland.
“My region for Junior Achievement covered much of the territory of the 74th District, so I am familiar with these communities and their unique identities and needs,” said Dillie. Dillie is available to assist with constituent services, scheduling, and keeping track of opinions on issues before the legislature to assist Rep. Swanson.
“We’re excited to be hitting the ground running in both Springfield and here in the district. We’re also eager to hear from you on issues of importance with state government. Please feel free to call, e-mail, or stop in any time,” reiterated Rep. Swanson.
