Last week I had the chance to sit down with Future Leaders from the pork industry, as well as representatives from the Illinois Department of Agriculture and the Illinois Pork Producers’ Association to talk about the many different aspects of the pork industry, the impact it has on the Illinois economy and how we can support pork production in Illinois.
As the only hog producer serving in the General Assembly, I always appreciate the opportunity to meet the young leaders representing and leading the Illinois pork industry.
