This weekend we started out at the Good Hope United Methodist Church breakfast of cheese meat casserole, biscuits & gravy and yogurt, with several options to blend. The rains held off so the parade took place. It was a very nice parade with great local support. The Good Hope Fire Department lit up the grill for the noon meal.
Later in the afternoon, my home church, Alpha Baptist Church had a bake sale and served floats for Andover Days. The Osco Andover Fire Department grilled pork chops. The Orion Community Band played music. At 7 p.m., the Orion Community Band played patriotic music as the Orion American Legion and Orion VFW conducted a veterans tribute.
