On Saturday my day started out early helping to set up for the Galesburg NAACP picnic and backpack distribution.
Because the day started early for many, and once the grills were set up, I brought some bacon and eggs for the early crew. Chef Dwight White cooked it all to perfection. For the picnic we grilled hot dogs and hamburgers.
It was a great event to help start young school-aged children for school with a backpack full of school supplies.
