Friday evening was an evening spent at the Rock Island County Fair. The 4-H livestock auction started at 6pm. Dan bought the Grand Champion Market Ewe. Pictured with Dan is Levi Junis, the young man who showed the Ewe. We stopped for a moment to get a picture of the Fair Queens! Was a great night with great weather!
I also attended the Warren County Agricultural Fair this weekend. My Dad always said not to buy any beef or pigs: we had enough of our own on the farm. Well Dad, I bought a 1500 pound cross bred steer. Congratulations to all the 4H members and the Warren County Ag fair staff for a great evening. Thanks to Kiwanis for the Hot Dog.
